GATE International Advisory Council was formed

Since the phase of establishment, GATE - Global Academy of Tourism & Hospitality Education enjoyed the previllage of having respected prominent international advisors from various part of the globe who genuinely wanted to support the educational objective of GATE.  However, only while GATE was celebrating its 5th Anniversary on 1st of August, 2012,  the need of forming an International Advisory Council was felt and with the leadership of Late Mr. Hussain Najadi, an author and a prominent international leader in Banking and Finance sector had volunteered to chair the Council.
The first General meeting is expected to be held in March 2013 in Kathmandu in the presence of other respected members who are renowned global leaders in their own sector. GATE is fortunate to have members from different walks of life and the academy will move forward and grow together with the direct advise and support of the following leaders:
  • Dr. Meena Singh Khadka, Chairman - GATE International Advisory Council
  • Dr. Marc Clark - Senior Advisor (USA)
  • Dr. Ursula Gehbauer Tichler - Advisor ( Switzerland)
  • Ms Deborah Koehler - Advisor (Germany)
  • Ms Alphonsa Sebastian - Advisor (UAE)
  • Ms Karen White - Advisor (Canada)
  • Mr. Alfred Gafner - Advisor (Switzerland)

Founder CEO Khem R. Lakai, believes that the hospitality industry is global business and having such a competant and renowned global leaders in International Advisory Council will further elevate the reputation of already award winning GATE College.
