GATE Vocational History:

The background of GATE Academy has been very inspirational and inseparable with GATE Vocational since its inception. Being the first private model to offer both Academic and Vocational courses, the first group of 60 culinary students were the admitted for vocational course in January 2008 where the College Management provided loans in corporate guarantee to each student through Sanima Bank as a pilot project. Today GATE Vocational delivers vocational skills - focused practical based hospitality training programs as demanded by the world’s largest food service industry. With an emphasis on both theoretical and practical learning, GATE is global in its outlook, but understands and values the local need while assuring the quality of a disciplined work culture. GATE Vocational is committed to contemporary and practical international hospitality training. GATE has been adopting a Swiss study model and Swiss applied training concepts through the affiliate mother-house SSTH in Switzerland. GATE is now a renowned home name as Nepal’s best international award winning hospitality vocational training Colleges in a short period of time. We have also partnered with HELVETAS, employment secretariat to provide some 839 scholarships to needy students who otherwise cannot afford the training.
